	why IML

1.	As per the reports of CERC, Food Safety is a hot topic, today. In times of Ready - to - eat, off - the - shelf packaged foods, it is must that compaines adhere to BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards).

2.	As per the notification passed in the Gazette of the Ministry of Environment and forests in 1999, all packaging material used for food iteams should be easily recyclable.

3.	CERC reports have found many brands to have microbial contamination due to improper transport, storage or Packaging. This can lead to high levels of coliforms (e - coli & pathogen bacteria) leading to contamination of the food products

4.	As IML completely does away with human handling, chances of contamination are brought down to almost Zero.

5.	No second operation is required for separation of different materials, hence it is easily recyclable.
